Hell or High Water

Hell or High Water is a collection of eight 17x22in black and white digital photographs where written text and the human form come together to cultivate a dialogue about sexuality. Some images contain homophobic rhetoric that is contrasted by soft, but firm, poses with two female models. The others project lesbian love poetry, where the poses get progressively more explicit. My goal was to create a body of work that softly critiques homophobia but largely celebrates women loving women relationships.
